How to Request Help

We work with animal rescue organizations and some vet offices. First try KARES (808-33-6299) or Haka Ohana (via Facebook).  We act as a backstop to other organizations.

Note that we only pay the vets directly, we do not reimburse individuals for vet bills.

Fence assistance

 

Some of our projects pay for kennels, enclosures or fences/fence repair. For example, to separate dogs on property or in case of a fire or other disaster that requires an owner to take up temporary residence somewhere.​

Vet bill assistance

Sometimes things happen that you don't expect - your dog gets sick or injured, and the vet bill is more than you can afford. Surrendering your dog to the Humane Society or a rescue may not be the answer. The rescues screen requests; they contact us when needed.
