Kona Dogs Kokua

We got a call about a stray dog that had been hit by a car. A good samaritan had picked her up, but couldn't afford to take her to the vet. She was clearly injured, in pain and too thin. Rather than take her to the Humane Society, which probably would not have the resources to help her, the good samaritan called a local rescue. The rescue called us.

Daisy had a broken leg that required surgery to set, including several pins. We covered the cost of surgery medications and follow up visits.  After a few weeks and follow up visits, she was doing great. She even got adopted into her forever home.
